Casting: Love, Dating and Relationships After 65

Update: In order to gather a wider group of prospective applicants, our casting company has lowered the age range to 65 plus. The Rec Centers have updated this page to reflect the change in age.

Are you 65+ and in a relationship, dating or wanting to date? We want to hear your story!

Sun City West and an established documentary company in New York are working together to develop a documentary series about love, dating and relationships after age 65 at Sun City West. 

Our hope is to follow several unique and charismatic singles (all 65+ years old!) to capture their journey through all the relatable, humorous, and beautiful elements of dating and relationships – from flirting and communication mishaps to intimacy, unrequited love, and caring for one another.

It will be frank, fun, surprising…  and most of all inspiring.

We are looking for people over 65 who are currently dating or interested in dating.

• If currently dating, we would like to learn the story of how you and your partner met and see you both navigating your relationship at the community and with your families and hear what is next – meeting each other’s families, a trip, marriage?
• If not dating, but open to the idea, we would like to help figure out what type of partner you are looking for and send you on several dates (that we craft with you and arrange) to see if we can help you find a compatible partner. Dates would be with other Sun City West residents and, depending on your comfort level, they could be at Sun City West or an excursion off campus – like a trip to a museum in Phoenix or even to Vegas. Participants would not be compensated for their participation but all expenses around the dates would be covered.

After submitting your questionnaire, also email a recent photo of yourself to casting@suncitywest.com and have your name as the subject line. A downloadable version of the questionnaire is also available through the button below for those that wish to print it out and fill it by hand. Printed out questionnnaires can be dropped off at the administrative offices at the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center. Thank you so much for your time and interest!
