The Recreation Centers of Sun City West’s Facilities Maintenance Department will begin work on the RH Johnson Campus on Tuesday, June 4, to reseal foundations at two of its buildings.
Specifically, members will see crews working at the back of Silvercraft, and later the south wall of the Sports Pavilion. Silvercraft digging will begin Tuesday; the Sports Pavilion work will follow shortly thereafter. None of the work will interfere with operations but members are advised to avoid any areas with caution tape and barricades.
Staff will dig a few feet from the walls to prep the area where water is leaking through the foundation. Both of these building sections were expansions from the original build. Once cleaned, the areas will be repaired and resealed.
