This April, the Rec Centers are excited to bring back their Food Truck Music Festival to Beardsley Park with headliner Thaddeus Rose Band and opener Dawson & Tolliver!
Taking place on Wednesday, April 1, grab something to eat from one of the several food trucks scheduled to appear and enjoy live music from two great musical acts.
The lineup of food trucks will be announced soon, so keep an eye on this page and the Rec Centers’ social media pages.
Gates for the event open at 4 p.m. with Dawson & Tolliver performing from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and Thaddeus Rose Band taking the stage from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Water, soda, ice cream and popcorn will also be available for purchase until 7 p.m. at the partial concessions ramada.
Make sure to bring your lawn chairs and get ready for a fun night of music and food!
Tickets for this two-act show are $20 and available online at suncitywest.com/tickets and at the R.H. Johnson Box Office.
The tickets you purchase get you into the park for the two musical performances. If you are not interested in the music and are just looking for a bite to eat, non-ticket holders can still stop by the Beardsley parking lot and purchase from the food trucks in attendance.

Gary Dawson and Daniel Tolliver form the classic country duo of Dawson and Tolliver. If you have a hankering for country tunes from the past, this pair will satisfy that need. Dawson, a Memphis native, has been influenced by the greats, including Mickey Newbury and George Strait. Since March of 2022, he and his son, Colton, formed Arizona’s father-son duo – Dawson Acoustic. After thee years and more than 400 gigs, Colton moved to Nashville, allowing Dawson to play music with his friend and fellow musician, Tolliver. Tolliver has always leaned into his musical influences, like George Jones and Merle Haggard, so at 18 he began playing in bars and honky-tonks across Arizona. He originally was lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the band Daniel Tolliver and the Travelers, before shifting to duets with his pal Dawson.
Thaddeus Rose Band

Thaddeus Rose Band is a variety band that has mesmerized audiences for the past 20 years. Offering the best dance and rock hits of all times, the Thaddeus Rose Band brings a highenergy performance like no other.
