Help those affected by the recent wildfires in southern California with an upcoming charity event on Monday, Feb. 24, at the Palm Ridge Rec Center.
From 4:30 to 6 p.m. enjoy a car show in the parking lot, along with food from the AFMA food truck. Afterwards, a charity dance will be held in the Palm Ridge summit hall from 6 to 8:30 p.m. with live music from the band Still Above Ground.
Doors for the dance open at 5:30 p.m. and admission is free, on a first come, first serve basis and only for SCW residents. Must show your SCW rec card.
Minimum $20 donation suggested, cash only. 100% of proceeds will go to Red Cross & Samaritans Purse.
