The Recreation Centers of Sun City West have set their holiday closures for the Independence Day holiday on Friday, July 4.
The Rec Centers’ Administrative, Membership and Golf Operations offices will be closed all day that Friday in recognition of the holiday. The R.H. Johnson Box Office and Library will also be closed.
All RCSCW golf courses will be open regular hours with the exception of Echo Mesa and Trail Ridge, both of which are closed for the summer.
All four recreation centers, the Sports Pavilion and Lizard Acres Pub will be open regular business hours.
Members bringing in any guests to an RCSCW facility must make sure they are wearing a Rec Center issued guest wristband. Additional details about the Rec Centers’ guest passes and wristbands are available online at suncitywest.com/guestpasses.
Members are also encouraged to put member credit on their accounts prior to the holiday. There is no expiration on these funds and can be added to your account in the following ways:
- Call or visit Members Services, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays; 623-544-6100
- Visit the express payment window outside Member Services from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays
- Visit any open golf pro shop
- Visit the R.H. Johnson Snack Bar, located in the lobby of the R.H. Johnson Pool
- Pay with a credit card ONLY for 3-day use at any of the monitor stations at the four recreation centers
Something needs to be done about the bees at Kuentz pool and courtyard before we have another swarm like we had last year. Someone is going to get hurt like the landscaper at the one golf course last year.
Hi Arlene. Thank you for sharing your concerns about bees at the Kuentz Recreation Center. We’ve passed along your comment to our Facility Operations team so they are aware of it.
