2025 Summer Puzzle Updates
This summer will mark the 13th year of the R.H. Johnson Library’s summer community puzzle, which invites all interested Sun City West members to come and work together to assemble a puzzle inside the library.
This year, the experience will be a little different compared to previous years as the library will be providing three puzzles for members to piece together isntead of the usual one. The first puzzle will be a 21,000 piece puzzle named “Earth Chronicles: From The Creation to The Future.”
Each puzzle will be available for patrons to work on during the library’s normal operating hours (Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Once each puzzle is completed, it’ll be on display in the library for approximately a week before it is torn down and the next puzzle is brought out for members to start working on.
Opening day for this year’s summer community puzzle will be Friday, May 30, at 9:30 a.m.
All Sun City West Rec members are invited to come inside, get out of the summer heat and join in on the fun. You can work on these puzzles for as much or as little time as you wish. A sign-up sheet will be available to count how many members participated and how many hours it took to complete the puzzles.
The library is located at 13801 Meeker Blvd., on the corner of R.H. Johnson and Meeker boulevards. Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Thank you Vivian!
A special thank you goes out to Vivian L Hennessey as she provides the puzzles used each summer as a way to honor her husband, Jim.
