2025 Summer Puzzle Updates

This summer will mark the 13th year of the R.H. Johnson Library’s summer community puzzle, which invites all interested Sun City West members to come together and help assemble a puzzle.

This year, the experience will be a little different compared to previous years as the library will be doing three puzzles isntead of one, starting with a 21,000 piece puzzle named “Earth Chronicles: from The Creation to The Future.”

Opening day for this year’s summer community puzzle will be Friday, May 30, at 9:30 a.m. The puzzle will be available for patrons to work on during the library’s normal operating hours (Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) until it is completed. Once a puzzle is completed, it will be left up for about a week before it is taken down and the next puzzle is started.

All Sun City West Rec members are invited to come inside, get out of the summer heat and join in on the fun. You can work on these puzzles for as much or as little time as you wish. A sign-up sheet will be available to count how many members participated and how many hours it took to complete the puzzles.

The library is located at 13801 Meeker Blvd., on the corner of R.H. Johnson and Meeker boulevards. Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

All the Community Summer Puzzles are donated by Vivian L Hennessey in honor of her husband, Jim
